JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Coast Guard and local agencies are searching for an unconfirmed missing boater in the Ponce Inlet, Tuesday.
Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville watchstanders received a report of a capsized Jon boat with no operator in sight from a good Samaritan at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Involved in the search are rescue crews from Coast Guard Station Ponce de Leon Inlet, Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Fish and Wildlife and local life guards.
