SHARK RIVER, N.J. — The Coast Guard, Coast Guard Auxiliary and local authorities are searching for a 15-year-old boy approximately one mile north of here, Thursday.
The Coast Guard received a call at 5:57 p.m. from local authorities stating two people were in distress and that one was rescued, in good condition, and assistance was needed to search for the boy.
A 25-foot Response Boat-Small crew from Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet, N.J., a Coast Guard Auxiliary asset, an MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., and local authorities are currently searching for the boy.
