Coast Guard, local agencies search for 16 year-old near Jupiter Inlet

MIAMI — Coast Guard search-and-rescue crews search for a missing 16 year-old male in the vicinity of Jupiter Inlet, Fla., Monday.

Coast Guard Sector Miami watchstanders received a report that a teen went missing during an outing with a youth group at Juno Beach Pier Sunday.

Coast Guard launched multiple air and surface assets to search for the missing teen.

Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet launched a boatcrew to assist in the search along with a Coast Guard Air Station Miami HC-144 Ocean Sentry and the Coast Guard Cutter Gannet.

Other agencies searching are Juno Police Department, by land, and the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Eagle helicopter.

The missing teen is described as a 5’5″ white male with long dirty blond hair last seen in the vicinity of Juno Beach Pier.
