Coast Guard lifts port conditions in Savannah and Brunswick following Tropical Storm Hanna

SAVANNAH, Ga., – The Captain of the Port for Savannah and Brunswick established port readiness condition four at 7 a.m. Saturday for coastal Georgia due to the movement of Tropical Storm Hanna.

The Captain of the Port of Savannah and Brunswick removed all hurricane readiness conditions that were imposed in advance of Tropical Storm Hanna. With the return to port condition four in Savannah and Brunswick, all marine operations including waterfront facility and vessel transits may occur, which are subject to prudent seamanship and safe work practices.

Port condition four is the normal port condition during hurricane season
