Coast Guard ISC Miami Change of Command Scheduled

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Miami welcomes its new commanding officer during a formal change-of-command ceremony at 100 MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, on Thursday.

Capt. Christine Balboni will relieve Capt. Ekundayo Faux, whose next assignment is Chief of the Office of Financial Transformation and Compliance at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington D.C.

Capt. Balboni’s previous assignment was Chief of Resource Management and Productivity Staff at the Seventh District Office in Miami.

ISC Miami is the southernmost support command of Coast Guard’s Atlantic Area Maintenance and Logistics Command. With a budget of nearly $4 million, including $2.5 million in operating expenses, the men and women of ISC Miami are specialists in the fields of administration, accounting, procurement, personnel services, health care, family relations, industrial, maintenance and many other service related areas. ISC Miami has a complement of more than 200 personnel comprised of 16 officers, 98 enlisted and 95 civilians. Reserve staffing includes three officers and approximately 38 enlisted personnel. ISC Miami encompasses two Industrial Support Detachments located in Charleston, S.C., and Jacksonville, Fla., and a Work-Life detachment in Puerto Rico.
