Coast Guard Honors Fallen British World War II Sailors in North Carolina

Petty Officer Mark Burgoa tunes his bagpipe before the 74th annual British War memorial ceremony begins at Hatteras Island, North Carolina on Thursday. He is part of the Coast Guard-wide band, made up of Auxiliarists, active duty members, reservists and even retirees. While a majority of the band is in Washington, District of Columbia for Police Week, Burgoa and two other musicians will play “Amazing Grace” and “Semper Paratus.”
