STONINGTON, CT – The Coast Guard Foundation has unveiled its newly designed Web site – with comprehensive information about the Foundation, its history of helping and its staff.
“This new web site is easier to navigate, much more user-friendly and aesthetically appealing,†said Ross Roeder, Foundation Chair. “Our updated site will be an even more useful fundraising tool for the Foundation. With just a few clicks of a mouse, donors can securely make a contribution on-line.â€
The address for the new Foundation web site is: www.cgfdn.org. In addition to the ‘Make a Contribution’ link, features of the new site include information about the Foundation, its history and how it helps the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard and its Academy; a guide to scholarship information; an updated news and events section; a link to access and download current and past Foundation publications; and a section on how to contact the Foundation with links to other pertinent Coast Guard and naval military web sites.
