Kodiak, AK – The Coast Guard has located three hunters overdue from a trip on near Kodiak Island. Coast Guard spokeswoman Sara Francis says the three were located Wednesday morning by a Jayhawk helicopter. All were fine.
She says the three men were headed back to Anton Larson Bay, but spent the night in Onion Bay because of lousy weather. There were snow and hurricane-like conditions reported Tuesday. They were found Wednesday morning in Kupereanof Strait, between Raspberry Island and Kodiak Island.
