Coast Guard Cutter Dependable to hold decal ceremony

CAPE MAY, N.J. – A ceremony is scheduled aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Dependable to honor the ship and its crew at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May in Cape May, N.J.

The ceremony is being held to honor the crew’s achievements during their recent 52-day patrol in the eastern Caribbean where they recovered drugs, seized vessels and took into custody five individuals suspected of drug trafficking.

The crew will be placing five decals on the hull of the cutter each representing a drug seizure.
