Coast Guard Cutter Dallas to be decommissioned Friday

7th Coast Guard District NewsPORTSMOUTH, Va. – A decommissioning ceremony for the Coast Guard Cutter Dallas is to be held at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Pier Papa, in North Charleston, S.C., Friday at 10 a.m.

The Dallas, a 378-foot high endurance cutter homeported in Charleston, will be decommissioned after 45-years of service in a ceremony presided over by Vice. Adm. Robert C. Parker, commander, Coast Guard Atlantic Area.
