New Orleans — A HH-65C helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans along with a boat crew from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and a Coast Guard Auxiliary small, fixed-wing aircrew continue to search today for an overdue boater, William Adams, 47, in Whiskey Canal between Lake Cataouatche and Lake Salvador southwest of New Orleans.
A Coast Guard helicopter aircrew, a JPSO boatcrew and Coast Guard Auxiliary aircrews searched throughout the day Saturday with negative results.
Adams was reportedly in a green, 15-foot, flat bottom boat and his concerned girlfriend notified the JPSO Friday that he was overdue.
