ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Coast Guard rescued four people Wednesday aboard a 74-foot fishing boat disabled and adrift 55 miles southeast of Atlantic City, N.J.
Rescued was John Wright, Kendall Miller, John Cicquh and William Callaway.
The Coast Guard received a call at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday from a crew member aboard the C-Venture, homeported in Wanchese, N.C., reporting their engines won’t start and they’re adrift.
The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Ibis, homeported in Cape May, N.J., arrived on scene and is towing the boat and crew to Cape May.
