Coast Guard crew rescues 4 in Delaware River

PHILADELPHIA – The Coast Guard rescued four people Sunday from a 21-foot disabled boat in the Delaware River north of Tinicum Island near Philadelphia.

The Coast Guard received a call at 9:29 p.m. from a member of the Delaware County Fire Rescue reporting a disabled boat.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia arrived on scene and towed the boat and its crew to Lagoon Marina near Tinicum Island.

No injuries were reported.
