Coast Guard crew rescues 1 near Westville, N.J.

WESTVILLE, N.J.- The Coast Guard rescued a man aboard a disabled jet ski Thursday in the Delaware River here.

The Coast Guard received a call at 2 p.m. from a member of the Sunoco Chemicals’ Eagle Point Refinery in Westville reporting a man aboard a disabled jet ski near their pier needed assistance.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia arrived on scene and towed the jet ski and the man to Big Timber Creek marina near Westville.
