BARNEGAT, N.J. – The Coast Guard medevaced a 29-year-old man Wednesday aboard a 145-foot boat 51 miles east of Barnegat Inlet here.
Medevaced was Joe Holtz.
The Coast Guard received a call at 12:05 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the Endeavor reporting Holtz was injured and needed medical attention.
A rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived on scene and transported Holtz to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City Campus for treatment.
