MANASQUAN INLET, N.J. – The Coast Guard assisted two people eight miles east of Manasquan Inlet after their 50-foot motor boat became disabled Tuesday.
The Coast Guard received a call at approximately 4:30 a.m. from a crewmember aboard the Kimberly reporting they had water in the fuel line and the engine would not start.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet arrived on scene and took the Kimberly and its crew in tow and moored them safely at Fisherman’s Pier in Manasquan Inlet.
No injuries were reported.
