Coast Guard continues search for downed aircraft east of Palm Beach

MIAMI — The Coast Guard continues to search Saturday for a downed Piper Saratoga aircraft with two people aboard 23 miles east of Palm Beach.

The Coast Guard Cutter Paul Clark (WPC-1106) and Coast Guard Cutter James (WMSL-754) crews will continue to search during the day. Coast Guard Air Station Miami authorized the launch of a HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircraft to conduct aerial search and rescue efforts.
