Coast Guard conducts pollution survey of grounded tug and barge

Kodiak, AK – A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules airplane crew conducted an overflight at the site of a 78-foot tug vessel that went aground on Ukolnoi Island, 20 miles east of Cold Bay, Alaska, Nov. 14, 2012. The Hercules crew conducted a survey of the area to detect any maritime pollution, no pollution was found.
