SAN DIEGO — A San Diego-based Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew performed a medical evacuation of a 48-year-old man from the U.S. Naval Ship Yukon this morning.
At 6:30 a.m., the command center at Sector San Diego received notification of a crewmember in need of immediate medical attention.
The helicopter was dispatched to the location of the ship where the crew hoisted the man, and transferrered him to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. for treatment.
