Coast Guard completes search after Fish and Wildlife Commission rescues man

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard completed its search for a missing jet skier after a Florida Fish and Wildlife boatcrew found him near Panama City, Florida, Saturday.

The FWC boatcrew rescued Michael Labron at 11:50 p.m. and transported him to awaiting emergency medical services at Colony Club in West Bay, Panama City.

Involved in the search were:

  • Coast Guard Station Panama City 29-foot Response Boat-Small boatcrew
  • Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew
  • Bay County Sheriff’s Department boatcrew
  • Bay County Sheriff’s Department helicopter aircrew
  • Florida Fish and Wildlife boatcrew

The man’s condition was unknown.
