Admiral Thad W. Allen, Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard testified today on the Integrated Deepwater System before the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Marine Transportation Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the U.S. House of Representatives.

I was especially impressed by what the Commandant said at the close of his testimony>
I am the Commandant of the Coast Guard, I am responsible, I will do this right.
Unlike most people who testify before Congress, I believe he meant what he said. He will do it right.
