MIAMI – The Coast Guard called off its search for a woman who reportedly disappeared off Phil Foster Park in Riviera Beach, Fla., Wednesday at approximately 1 a.m.
After seeing her on TV, reportedly missing, a friend to 49-year-old Dawn Roberts notified Palm Beach Sheriffs Office deputies that Roberts was currently at her house. PBSO arrived to the friend’s house and confirmed Roberts location, bringing an end to the search.
Roberts reportedly disappeared while swimming with a friend early Wednesday morning. Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, PBSO and Riviera Beach Police Department officials were all involved with the search efforts.
