MIAMI — Sea Tow rescued a man from the water with assistance from the Coast Guard Friday near Boca Chita Key.
Sea Tow notified Coast Guard Sector Miami watchstanders, at approximately 11:54 a.m., that a man was pulled out to sea trying to swim after an adrift dinghy. Watchstanders diverted a Coast Guard Air Station Miami MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew who arrived on scene and marked the location of the man with a smoke flare.
Sea Tow rescued the man and towed his dinghy ashore.
