ALAMEDA, Calif. – A Coast Guard C-130 Hercules aircraft from Air Station Sacramento transported the Incident Management Assistance Team from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to Bismarck, N.D. today, in support of FEMA’s response to the flooding of the Red River Valley.
The aircraft flew the FEMA IMAT and 2,000 pounds of supplies to provide relief for those affected by the rising floodwaters.
The aircraft took off at 10 a.m. and returned this evening after unloading personnel and supplies at Minot Air Force Base in N.D..
