BOSTON — A Coast Guard air crew is transporting a fisherman to Cape Cod, Mass., after he began experiencing chest pains about 120 miles east of Provincetown, Mass., Thursday.
The 76-foot stern trawler Lilly Jean, homeported in Gloucester, Mass., called Coast Guard Sector Boston using VHF-FM radio around 1:40 p.m., requesting assistance for 38 year-old Sawyer Everett.
A Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod is planning on taking Everett to the air station where they will be met by local emergency service personnel.
