Coast Guard Academy to host annual Service of Lessons and Carols

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Academy is scheduled to hold its annual Service of Lessons and Carols at the U. S. Coast Guard Memorial Chapel, Wednesday.

The service is free and open to the public.

The Coast Guard Band Brass Quintet and the Cadet Handbell Choir will be performing prelude music at 6:45 p.m.

Lessons and Carols will begin at 7 p.m. featuring the Cadet Glee Club and Cadet Handbell Choir.

A lighting of the Coast Guard Academy Christmas Tree ceremony will take place after the service.
