NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Academy is announcing its Regimental Review schedule for the fall season.

Regimental reviews are a part of military tradition and ceremony and serve to develop poise, confidence, speaking skills, teamwork and leadership among the Corps of Cadets.

The events, which usually take place on Friday afternoons, provide a means of recognizing military heritage, tradition and service pride. The community is invited to attend the reviews, which are free and open to the public. Seating is available and located in front of Hamilton Hall located by the main gate, with a view of the Washington Parade Field where the ceremony takes place.

The Corps of Cadets Regimental Review schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. in recognition of Gold Star Families
  • Friday, Sept. 14 at 4 p.m. in recognition of First Responders
  • Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9:45 a.m. Parents Weekend
  • Friday, Oct. 12 at 3:15 p.m. Homecoming
  • Thursday, Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. Elenchus Fellowship
  • Friday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. in recognition of strategic partnerships

In the event of foul weather, reviews may be cancelled or moved to an indoor location. Changes to the review schedule and reviewing officials may be made without prior notice.
