Atlantic City Coast Guard crew rescues man off fishing vessel

BALTIMORE — Coast Guard personnel rescued a man aboard a fishing vessel five miles east of Atlantic City, N.J., Sunday afternoon.

Coast Guard Station Atlantic City watchstanders received notification of a 92-year-old man experiencing possible cardiac issues aboard the fishing vessel Fish Finder II five miles off Atlantic City.

A rescue boatcrew was launched and the man was taken off the boat and brought ashore at Station Atlantic City. He was then transferred to awaiting EMS in stable condition for further transport to Atlantic Care Medical Center in Atlantic City.
