Anheuser-Busch Extends “Here’s to the Heroes” Program

St. Louis – Anheuser-Busch first launched the Here’s to the Heroes program in February 2005 to acknowledge the service of military members and the sacrifices made by their families. To date, the program has provided free admission to A-B owned theme parks for nearly four million military members and their families. A-B recently announced that they are extending the program through 2008.

The program provides a single day free admission to any one Sea World, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, Adventure Island or Water Country USA for the service member and up to three immediate family members. Family members may take advantage of the offer without the service member, but must be accompanied by and adult. Dependents over the age of ten must have a dependent ID card.

The program is available to any active duty, active reserve, ready reserve or national guardsman. Registration may be done online at Hero Salute, or at the entrance to any participating park by showing an appropriate military ID card.

In making the announcement in an ALCOAST message, it was pointed out that “While the Coast Guard sincerely appreciates the contributions made by Anheuser-Busch in recognizing the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform, no Coast Guard or DHS endorsement is implied.
