A Rocky Re-enlistment

PHILADELPHIA - A local Coast Guardsman re-enlisted today for four more years of service while standing in front of the statue of movie character Rocky Balboa that stands adjacent to the Philadelphia Art Museum. As his shipmates looked on, Petty Officer 1st Class Anthony J. Matulonis (pictured at left) took an oath of enlistment administered by his supervisor, Lt. Bill McKinstry, in front of the iconic Philadelphian image. Matulonis, 28, originally from Baltimore, currently serves as a marine science technician at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia.
