Video – Coast Guard Rescues four from burning Kodiak fishing vessel

KODIAK, Alaska – A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew hoists four men 80 miles southwest of Kodiak July 11, 2010, after they abandoned the 52-foot fishing vessel Nakat because it caught on fire.

Joe and Andrew Macinko, both Kodiak residents, Wyatt Adams, Anchorage resident, and David Merriman, Shelton, Wa., resident, were hoisted by the aircrew and taken to Coast Guard base Kodiak in good condition.

Joe and Andrew Macinko, both Kodiak residents, Wyatt Adams, Anchorage resident, and David Merriman, Shelton, Wa., resident, escaped the vessel, were hoisted by a Jayhawk helicopter crew and returned to their loved ones in good condition.
