CLEVELAND – U.S. Coast Guard Station Cleveland Harbor rescued a 40-year-old female, a 60-year-old male and a 62-year-old female after their personal watercraft allided with a breakwall on Whiskey Island at the mouth of the Cuyahoga River Thursday at approximately 1:45 a.m.

CLEVELAND – The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a possible pollution source after approximately 100-150 birds were found dead and another 30-40 birds were found in distress along the Cuyahoga River in the vicinity of the Cuyahoga River Turning Basin along Independence Rd.
Coast Guard tows disabled vessel, urges boaters to have marine-band radio, distress signals
CLEVELAND – U.S. Coast Guard Station Cleveland Harbor towed a disabled vessel to shore at approximately 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The disabled vessel was stranded near the Cleveland Harbor break-wall and had no functioning means of communication aboard.
