Coast Guard conducts medical evacuation of laker crewman
CLEVELAND – U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City and U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary operated Small Boat Station Alpena medically evacuated a 37-year-old crewman from the motor vessel Maumee approximately 26 nautical miles northeast of Alpena, Mich., at approximately 11:00 a.m. Friday.
Coast Guard Searching for Missing Swimmer in Marquette Bay
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Coast Guard Station Marquette and Coast Guard Air Facility Muskegon commenced a search Sunday at approximately 4:45 p.m. for 28-year-old Robert Denman, who became missing offshore near the Picnic Rocks in Marquette Bay.
