Multi-agency search underway for missing man off Kaneohe’s Pyramid Rock

HONOLULU — U.S. Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy and Honolulu Fire Department rescue crews are actively searching for a missing mariner last seen near Pyramid Rock of the Mokapu peninsula in Kaneohe, Friday, March 5, 2009. Coast Guard helicopter crews searched throughout the night and were re-joined by the other agencies at sunrise this morning.

HONOLULU — A fisherman reported missing Monday night was found clinging to an overturned 14-foot pleasure craft 10 miles southwest of Oahu at 6 a.m. Tuesday by U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue crews.
