Small boats aground on East Beach of Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Southern California has been battered by massive storms over the last few days. In what has been called by some a storm for the record books, several boats have broken free and washed up on shore.

There have been more than 15 reports in the area of various items that had washed ashore, including the pleasure craft Northern Lights which broke free from its moorings and landed on East Beach of Santa Barbara Wednesday, January 20.
