Senior Chief Petty Officer Terrell Horne Memorial Service Video

LOS ANGELES — A memorial ceremony was held for Coast Guard Senior Chief Petty Officer Terrell Horne at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach Saturday December 8, 2012.

Senior Chief Horne, the Executive Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Halibut, was killed while conducting maritime law enforcement operations near Santa Cruz Island, Dec. 2, 2012. He sustained fatal injuries when the small boat he was on was rammed by a panga-style vessel being operated by drug smugglers.
