Missing Clear Lake Texas Boaters Located

HOUSTON – The two boaters missing since Sunday evening were located safe by the crew of the tug and barge Constellation Pouring at 8:33 a.m. Their sail boat had run aground near South Shore Harbor in Clear Lake and they spent the night on board.

The Coast Guard and other local agencies began searching for two boaters in a 27-foot sail boat, who went missing in Clear Lake, Sunday evening.

After the boat was located a Good Samaritan was able to free the sail boat. The boaters then returned to the slip they departed from Sunday morning.

The two boaters were reported to be in good condition.
