Lost At Sea
In late September, seven friends set out for an overnight fishing trip. It turned into a life changing experience for all of them as their 51 foot sport fishing boat sank and they jammed into a 4 man life raft.
Kristin Harty of The News Journal (Delaware) tells their story in an excellent series of reports. Sidebar stories include a time line of the Coast Guards actions, a followup story on what caused the boat to sink, and numerous videos of rescue and interviews with the people involved.
I highly recommend that you visit Lost at Sea for an exciting true story of survival. Something in the back of my mind tells me there’s a good movie in this story.
