FORT KENT, Maine - The Coast Guard conducted overflights yesterday for the Maine Emergency Management Agency to survey damage caused by flooding from spring run off and recent heavy rains in northern Maine. These short videos, shot by the crew of the Air Station Cape Cod helicopter, saw.

This is where I grew up. I am so sorry this has happened.
Life is very difficult there, with such cold long winters. Part of my family still resides in Fort Kent.

My Grandfather Alve Theriault just passed away a year and a half ago.
