ATLANTIC OCEAN - A wave crashes over the stern of the 270-foot Coast Guard Cutter Campbell Thursday evening 45-miles southeast of Nantucket, Mass. as crewman aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell attempt to pass a towline in 12-foot seas to the Creole Belle, a 74-foot fishing vessel disabled with three people aboard. An HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod ultimately hoisted the three crewmen who were aboard the Creole Belle to safety after severe weather prevented the Campbell from towing the vessel. ATLANTIC OCEAN – A wave crashes over the stern of the 270-foot Coast Guard Cutter Campbell Thursday evening 45-miles southeast of Nantucket, Mass. as crewman aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell attempt to pass a towline in 12-foot seas to the Creole Belle, a 74-foot fishing vessel disabled with three people aboard. Two Coast Guardsman were injured during the rescue and were transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

ATLANTIC OCEAN - The 74-foot fishing vessel Creole Belle became disabled and adrift Wednesday about 35 nautical miles southeast of Nantucket, Mass. An HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod hoisted the three crewman who were aboard the Creole Belle to safety Thursday after severe weather prevented the Coast Guard Cutter Campbell from towing the vessel.
