Coast Guard Rescues 26 From Burning Fishing Boat

Calabash, NC - The Coast Guard rescued 26 people this morning after the charter fishing boat they were on caught fire.
A spokesman from Coast Guard Station Georgetown said that the 26 were pulled from the water and were being taken to Calabash.
The distress call from the Miss Calabash 2 was received about 8:40 a.m. and the Coast Guard responded with two small boats from Station Georgetown and a helicopter.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
