Coast Guard Tows Disabled Vessel

JUNEAU, Alaska – When the captain of the Carlynn reported his 55-foot fishing vessel disabled and adrift with a fuel system problem, the Coast Guard responded with an Urgent Marine Information Broadcast and diverted the Coast Guard Cutter Mustang from Sitka Sound, approximately 165 nautical miles away. The Carlynn was towed safely to Cross Sound and anchored in Elfin Cove.
