Coast Guard to hold public meeting to discuss aids to navigation on the St. Croix River

The Coast Guard is scheduled to hold a public meeting in Stillwater, Minn., to receive comments concerning a plan to remove Coast Guard-maintained aids to navigation (ATON) on the St. Croix River in Minnesota.

The meeting will be held on March 2, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p,m in the auditorium at Stillwater Junior High School, 523 Marsh St. West, Stillwater, MN 55082-5700.

Parking is available in the main parking lot located on the north side of the auditorium.

If members of the public wish to voice concerns or comments, but are unable to go to the meeting, they can submit their written comments or questions to Ensign Austin T. Comments or questions can also be mailed to the Coast Guard district office at: Commander (dpw), Eighth Coast Guard District, Attn: Federal Projects, 500 Poydras St. Room 1230, New Orleans, LA, 70130-3310. All Comments must be recieved by the date of the public meeting and must include the docket number: USCG-2010-0075.
