Coast Guard suspends search for missing man

MANTUA, N.J. - The Coast Guard suspended the search Saturday for a missing 23-year-old man who disappeared in Mantua Creek near the I-295 Bridge.
The Coast Guard received a call at 7:12 p.m. from a member of the Gloucester County Police Department reporting a boat capsized with four people aboard. Three people were rescued by a Good Samaritan and one person is still missing.
The search was suspended at 11:17 p.m.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Philadelphia, a rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., members of the Gloucester County police and fire departments, a helicopter crew from the Philadelphia Police Department and members of the New Jersey State Police searched for the man.
