Coast Guard suspends search for missing man

NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard suspended its search Thursday evening for a man who reportedly jumped into the Mississippi River at the Spanish Plaza near the Canal Street Ferry.
The Coast Guard began searching for the man after receiving a report from the Vessel Traffic System.
Coast Guard Sector New Orleans searched with a 25-foot rescue boat and a HH-65C rescue helicopter and crew from Air Station New Orleans.
