Coast Guard Suspends Search For Missing Man
NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard has suspended the search for the 45-year-old man working aboard the tug Patriot Service today who reportedly went missing Wednesday evening.
The Coast Guard began the search for the missing man Wednesday at 9 p.m. after a crewmember of the Patriot Service reported that John Chaisson went missing near mile marker 89 in Chalmette, LA.
Sector New Orleans launched a HH-65C Dolphin rescue helicopter crew from Air Station New Orleans and a 41-foot small-boat rescue crew from Station New Orleans.
