A vehicle belonging to Crews was located at the Vilano Boat Ramp in St. Augustine with suspicious notes, “containing statements consistent with suicidal tendencies,” said Sgt. Barry Fox, detective with the St. Augustine Police Department.

A Coast Guard 25-foot boat crew from Station Mayport, Fla., launched and located the missing boat this morning at 7:55 a.m., with no one onboard approximately five-feet off a jetty in the St. Augustine Inlet. The boat crew towed the boat to the Comanche Cove boat ramp here.

Crews was scheduled to appear in court today for sentencing following a weapons related conviction.
