Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay change of command

PHILADELPHIA – Capt. Scott Anderson, commander, Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay, relieved Capt. Benjamin Cooper as sector commander in an official change of command ceremony presided over by Rear Adm. Meredith Austin, commander, Coast Guard 5th District, in Philadelphia, Friday.

Cooper served over two years as the sector commander, a job that oversees the Coast Guard’s missions, personnel and assets throughout the southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and Delaware region.

Anderson previously served as the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay deputy.
