Coast Guard Responds to Plane Crash in Cleveland

Cleveland – Coast Guard units are assisting Cleveland Fire, Police and EMS personnel in searching Lake Erie after a small plane crashed near Burke Lakefront airport.

News Channel 5 in Cleveland reports that the Coast Guard said there was one person on board the plane and that searchers have found debris from the crash.

Airport officials said the plane was a twin engine Beechcraft Baron which can carry up to five passengers.
