Once on scene, the station New Orleans boat crew transferred Carrillo aboard and transported him back to station New Orleans where he was reported to be in good condition.

“Local agencies including Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries and St Tammany Parish Sherriff’s Office coordinated well with Coast Guard search and rescue coordinators to efficiently find the missing jet skier,” said Chris Hampton, a civilian search and rescue coordinator at Coast Guard Sector New Orleans.
